Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Laudinum Recordings is a London based music and storytelling company. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
The data controller responsible for your personal data is Aurean Brae Ltd, trading as Laudinum Recordings, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16886681, with registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ. You can reach us about anything in this policy at contact@laudinumrecordings.com.
Aurean Brae Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office; our registration reference is available on request.
The data we collect
We collect personal data in two ways.
First, if you choose to subscribe for release updates, we collect the email address you provide.
Second, if you consent to non-essential cookies, our analytics and advertising tools collect technical and behavioural data automatically. This can include your IP address, device and browser information, the pages you view, and how you interact with the site. These tools are Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, described in our Cookie Policy. None of these run before you give consent.
How we use your data
We use your email address only to send you Laudinum Recordings release updates and news. We do not use it for any other purpose.
We use the data collected by our analytics and advertising tools to understand how people find and use the site, to measure the performance of our marketing, and to show relevant Laudinum content to audiences on Meta and LinkedIn platforms.
Our lawful basis
We rely on your consent as our lawful basis for sending you the newsletter and for setting any non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time, for the newsletter by unsubscribing, and for cookies by changing your preferences through the cookie banner. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
We do use third parties to provide parts of this service, and they process data on our behalf or as independent controllers for their own platform purposes:
Google. We currently store newsletter sign-ups in a Google Sheet, and we use Google Analytics to measure site usage. [UPDATE WHEN YOU MIGRATE: when newsletter sending moves to a dedicated email provider such as Mailchimp, add that provider here and describe what it stores.]
Meta. The Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API share website event data with Meta for measurement and advertising.
LinkedIn. The LinkedIn Insight Tag shares website event data with LinkedIn for measurement and advertising.
We manage these tools through Google Tag Manager, which loads them only after you consent.
International transfers
Google, Meta, and LinkedIn may process your data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses, so that your data continues to receive a comparable level of protection.
How long we keep your data
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we remove you from the list.
Data collected by our analytics and advertising tools is retained in line with the retention settings configured within those tools.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, or to unsubscribe, contact us at contact@laudinumrecordings.com. You can also unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email we send.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would ask that you raise it with us first so we have the chance to put it right.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date above.
Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies this website uses, and how you can control them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as tracking pixels, work in comparable ways. Together they let a site function correctly, remember your choices, and, where you allow it, measure usage and support advertising.
How we use cookies
We group the cookies and similar technologies on this site into three categories.
Essential. These are necessary for the site to load and operate. They do not require consent and are always active.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors find and use the site. This sets cookies and collects technical and usage data. It runs only after you consent.
Advertising. We use the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the performance of our marketing and to show relevant Laudinum content to audiences on those platforms. These set cookies and share website event data with Meta and LinkedIn. They run only after you consent.
Consent and how we control these tools
When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Non-essential cookies, meaning analytics and advertising, are blocked by default and are only set if you allow them. We manage this through Google Tag Manager using Google Consent Mode, so no analytics or advertising tag fires until the matching consent is in place.
Third party cookies
The analytics and advertising tools above are operated by Google, Meta, and LinkedIn, who set their own cookies and process the resulting data under their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing those policies for full detail on their processing.
Changing your preferences
You can change your choices at any time by reopening the cookie settings on this site. You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect how the site works.
